Mikki Esta-Montas

Mikki is a dedicated public health professional who has been an integral part of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies since 2013. She began her career with the organization as a Health Care Navigator, supporting individuals in accessing health coverage and vital community resources.

Driven by her commitment to maternal and family well‑being, she transitioned into the role of Prenatal Care Coordinator. In this position, she assisted pregnant women in securing timely prenatal care, navigating available services, and obtaining appropriate payer sources. Her work strengthened care access for vulnerable families and contributed to improved maternal health and infant birth outcomes.

While advancing professionally at HMHB, she earned her Master of Public Health, further enhancing her ability to design, implement, and evaluate programs that strengthen maternal and child health systems.

Building on her expertise and leadership skills, she later advanced into a management role and now serves as the Program Director for Prenatal Care and Postpartum Coordination. In this capacity, she oversees program operations, guides staff, and ensures that families receive comprehensive support throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to health equity and community‑centered care.
