Basics4Babies emergency pantry provides diapers, formula, infant food and basic items, such as bottles, spoons, wipes and clothes for babies from birth to their first birthday (0-12 months). Diapers are available for children ages birth through three years. Supplies are limited and our ability to serve families in our community is based on donations and funding support.

Our long standing partnership with the Junior League of Boca Raton allows us to distribute hundreds of thousands of diapers each year to families with emergency need. Without their support and that of local funders who invest in infant formula and baby food, our pantry would not be possible.

We know that all babies need good nutrition during their early months and years in order to be both physically and mentally healthy.  This is sometimes a challenge when there is a family emergency.  That’s why B4B was created. The emergency could be caused by several factors, such as a house fire, job loss or relocation, or it could be that government services, such as WIC, have been delayed because of waiting periods. Because B4B is an emergency pantry, the number of visits is limited.

Number of Visits:
Since we help feed and diaper babies during a family emergency, the number of visits is limited to the following:

  • a maximum of six visits (formula and infant food) during the baby’s first 12 months of life
  • a maximum of one visit a month for diapers

B4B is located at three Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies locations: West Palm Beach, Greenacres and Belle Glade.  You do not need to be a client of Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County to receive B4B services.   Find the location closest to you.

B4B Hours of Operation:

  • West Palm Beach: Monday, Wednesday from 10 AM – 3 PM
  • Greenacres:  Tuesday, Thursday from 10 AM – 3 PM
  • Belle Glade: Tuesdays from 10AM – 3PM

3 Simple Requirements to receive B4B services:

  1. The baby being served must live in Palm Beach County.
  2. A photo ID for the parent/caregiver is needed for verification.
  3. The baby must be present at the time of service.  In extenuating circumstances, if you cannot bring the baby, the baby’s birth certificate must be presented

As always, our staff will be available to assist you and answer any questions you may have.  We look forward to serving you during our Basic4Babies hours.
