Palm Beach County’s Share Chapter at Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County is a resource for grieving parents and their loved ones. Our goal is to ensure families are given every opportunity to heal.
Mission
To serve those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or in the first few months of life.
Experiencing Loss
When a baby dies during pregnancy or in the first few months of life, parents are often not sure who to talk to. Many parents even experience difficult speaking to each other about the loss. They may be expected to “move on” or “try again.” Some common grief reactions may include: shock and numbness, guilt and/or self-blame, sadness/depression, helplessness, denial confusion, jealousy, disillusionment, anger, frustration and fear or panic.
Connect and Heal
Share is a community for bereaved parents. Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies provides a safe and supportive atmosphere where experiences, thoughts, and feelings can be freely expressed. We offer the opportunity for parents to connect with other parents to heal together.
