Lauren Whetstone
Lauren Whetstone is director of strategy, optimization, business analytics & governance for commercial & industrial infrastructure at FPL Energy Services, Inc., a NextEra Energy company that provides energy management and efficiency solutions to commercial and industrial customers. In this role, she partners with senior leaders to strengthen decision making, execution and accountability across multifaceted organizations.
Lauren brings more than 15 years of experience as a commercial and securities litigation attorney, where she advised executives and boards on risk, governance and high stakes business decisions. Her legal career at an international law firm sharpened her business judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability to navigate complex issues with clarity and integrity.
Lauren holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and public relations from the University of Florida. A long-time resident of Palm Beach County and a mother of two, Lauren is proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in Palm Beach County.
