Lisa Greenwood
For 33 years, Lisa Greenwood has served Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies (HMHB), marking a career defined by deep expertise in maternal and child health and sustained commitment to Palm Beach County’s families. Her extensive knowledge of the maternal health system and her ability to navigate complex programmatic and operational needs have made her a central figure in HMHB’s evolution.
Lisa currently serves as Chief Program Officer, overseeing all nine HMHB programs and guiding the agency’s technology, data systems, and program development efforts. She provides strategic direction across a wide range of services, ensuring alignment with HMHB’s mission and the needs of the community. Her role includes managing high‑performing teams, supporting continuous quality improvement, and coordinating programmatic responses to emerging maternal and infant health challenges.
Throughout her tenure, Lisa has held progressively responsible positions, beginning in 1992 as a Project Teen Intake Coordinator. She has since served as Youth Services Coordinator Associate, Assistant Program Director, Quality Assurance Director, Program Director for multiple service areas, Deputy Director, and ultimately Chief Program Officer. Her leadership has been instrumental in launching new initiatives, refining existing programs, and guiding major organizational transitions—including HMHB’s designation as the Prenatal Entry Agency for the Healthy Beginnings system of care in 2009.
Lisa also contributes her expertise through service on several key community committees, including the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Committee, Healthy Start Coalition, and Healthy Beginnings Coalition. Her work supports countywide strategies to improve birth outcomes and strengthen family well‑being.
A lifelong resident of Palm Beach County, Lisa has watched the community change and grow over 50 years. She is the mother of two daughters and has two grandchildren whom she spends a lot of time with.
