During pregnancy, families can experience a lot of stressful changes. For the health of mom and baby, it is important to stay relaxed. Prenatal yoga can help! Join us to learn breathing techniques and improve overall health awareness in a nurturing environment with other pregnant women.
Facilitated by: Daheia Barr-Anderson, PhD, MSPH, Certified Yoga Instructor, Associate Professor - University of Minnesota
Daheia was introduced to yoga about 30 years ago, and over the years, she has developed a love for power, vinyasa, and heated yoga. As a yoga teacher, her main goal is for students to explore and challenge their physical capabilities while staying connected to their breath. She has taught various types of yoga over the past 25 years including prenatal and postnatal yoga. She is the proud mother of two girls and relied heavily on her yoga practice to enhance her breathing, relaxation, and connection to her path to motherhood during both of her pregnancies.
