HMHB is attentive to the need for upholding Diversity and Inclusion as a fundamental component of our agency’s culture and core values. As a result, we are dedicated to fostering a collective organization environment with intentional and solution-oriented engagement opportunities that will yield the highest level of quality produced in our mission’s work. By embracing an inclusive culture that supports diverse skill sets and identities, our employees are better equipped to successfully enrich each other as well as the communities we serve. This committee is charged with developing, researching and proposing thoughtful guidance on the integration of diversity, equity and inclusion into all facets of work at Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County.


HMHB Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

At Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County, we recognize that a diverse and inclusive workforce is where all agency affiliates, (including: staff, volunteers, donors, the board of directors, and clients), irrespective of race, religious beliefs, ethnicity, sex, national origin, sexual orientation and/or gender identity, age, disability or education are treated equally for their roles and contributions. Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County upholds the following core principles:

  • We realize that systemic change, balancing representation and potentiality, across all facets of our agency, is required and must be set in motion to enhance our proficiency in programming.

HMHB completed Advancing the Mission Cohort II, which is a comprehensive program designed to assist nonprofit agencies in advancing racial equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging within their organization with the Birth to 22 Alliance Racial Equity Core Team.
