Caring for a baby takes skill, practice, and teaching. It's okay not to know how to change a diaper or give a baby their first bath; we can teach you! This class covers the basics of caring for a newborn, including diapering, feeding, and even caring for the umbilical stump. Anyone caring for the baby, including partners, grandparents, and older sibling, are welcome to learn together!
Facilitator: Anne Mejeur, IBCLC Lactation Consultant Wellington Regional Lamaze Certified Anne Mejeur is a childbirth educator and lactation counselor. She has years of experience working with mothers and newborns, and is a mother and grandmother herself. Anne hopes to make newborn care simple for families, and help them on their new journey.
