Childbirth Classes

Our childbirth classes, which teach parents what to expect in labor and delivery, are taught in the evening at local high schools and on weekends at our gulfstream office. Click here for schedule.

Preconception Classes

These informational classes are offered by Healthy Mothers/Healthy Babies for those women considering pregnancy. Women learn the steps to take to be as healthy as possible before pregnancy.

Raising Great Kids

A series of classes are offered for parents about their children from birth to age 5. These topics include bonding, development, language skills, nutrition, discipline and safety.

Lunch and Learn

Our staff is available to teach classes in preconception, pregnancy, parenting or special classes just for dads at local corporations during lunchtime.

Girl Talk

Classes for girls between the age of 11-19 to teach them life skills, goal setting, self-esteem and birth control. This program ultimately will help in the prevention of teenage pregnancy.

Guy Talk

Consists of one-hour after school life skills management training boys, ages 9-12 at various subsidized housing development sites. Topics covered are: Anger Management, Conflict Resolution, Peer Pressure, Puberty.

Conflict Resolution Classes

Elementary school children learn how to effectively handle conflict, peer pressure, anger and other challenging social interactions at school.

Teen Pregnacy Prevention/Male Responsability

Former teen parents educate middle and high school students about the consequences of teen pregnancy along with birth control methods, sexually transmitted diseases and male responsibility.

Babysitting 101

Teaches adolescents the basics of babysitting. Topics include safety, child development, play and nutrition.
